The 'Teenage Dream' singer reportedly wowed show boss Simon Cowell so much with her stint as a guest judge at the auditions on the UK programme, he now wants her to be the first name added to the panel on the Stateside talent contest when it launches next year.

A source said: 'Simon wants to get the judging names signed, sealed and announced within six weeks. He wants at least one massive American star, someone who is known globally, plus one Brit and at least one authoritative male.

'Katy was thrilled, especially by the package which is said to be a $340,000-a-show deal.

With the demands of performing on her Monster Ball tour, recording a new album and being one of her generation's top pop stars Lady Gaga has a lot on her plate – but she stays healthy by watching what she puts on her plate.

Since fainting during a concert in New Zealand earlier this year, Gaga has become a stickler for maintaining a healthy routine, according to her choreographer LaurieAnn Gibson.

"It's all about salsa with grain chips, tofu, turkey slices, hummus and coconut water," says the choreographer, who is nominated for two MTV VMAs for Gaga's "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" videos.

The 'America's Got Talent' host ' who has refused to confirm reports his singer spouse is four months pregnant with their first child ' thinks his wife has the right qualities to be an excellent parent.

He gushed: "She's very nurturing. She's nurturing with me and makes me breakfast at anytime and that's my favorite food. It would be like 3 o'clock in the morning and she will still make me waffles. She'll be the best mom."

Judging by her talent on display in the new movie Machete, Lindsay Lohan has a great shot at rekindling her movie career, her costars said Wednesday at a screening in Los Angeles.

"Lindsay is so good in the movie, and I can't wait for her to see it," Jessica Alba, 29, told PEOPLE on the red carpet. "It's awesome. She's great. I'm very proud."

Director Robert Rodriguez echoed that sentiment. "I can't wait for her to see it," he said. "She's awesome in the movie. She's going to enjoy it a lot. … She can do anything she wants [in this business]. This movie is so great for her. I think she's got a lot of talent, obviously. So, it's all up to her."

In a bold new move, this Sunday night's Emmys host Jimmy Fallon has opened the door for public comments about the TV ceremony's presenters – such as Tina Fey, Matthew Morrison, Neil Patrick Harris, January Jones, newlyweds Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin … and the list, as evidenced here, goes on.

Fallon and his team of writers will then pick the best Tweets and incorporate them into his on-air material. The Aug. 29 62nd annual Emmys will air live on NBC from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles starting at 8 p.m. ET.

What a great weekend!  Saturday night Q was another wild success at the Gold Room!  PACKED full of great people!

Though new photos of Mariah Carey performing in Brazil have sparked more speculation that the singer, 41, is pregnant, her husband Nick Cannon says the diva isn't ready to make any announcements yet.

Jenny McCarthy has officially moved on.

After she teased on Twitter about dating a "mystery man," the identity of the actress's new guy is a mystery no more. His name: Jason Toohey, 35, and he is a Las Vegas resident and former fitness model who has been quietly dating McCarthy for two months.

In fact, things are going so well that the two already live together – temporarily, at least.

The singer-and-actress tied the knot with hockey player Mike Comrie in a stunning sunset ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, yesterday (14.08.10) in front of 100 guests, according to America's OK magazine.

Hilary - who wore a mermaid-style dress by renowned wedding gown designer Vera Wang - was walked down the aisle by her mother Susan Duff and was accompanied by five bridesmaids, who included her sister Haylie Duff.

The couple - who started dating in 2007 - got engaged in February after Mike, 29, proposed in Hawaii.

Hilary, 22, and Mike met on a trip to a resort in Idaho and have been inseparable ever since.

I wondered this for quite a while.  Ya know that new song Animal we're playing on Q100... well how did the band come up with their name Neon Trees?  I finally found out....   They got their start in California and their name originates from the lighted trees outside of In N Out Burger restaurants that are all over California.  Just wanted to share this little tid-bit of info with ya :-) 

Saturday Night Q was a BLAST this weekend!  Probably the most fun I've had out yet since I've moved to Atlanta!  Each weekend you have to join us for Saturday Night Q at the Gold Room for the best party in Atlanta!!!  This past weekend I had a pile of friends join me to party VIP style... And at the VIP table right next to us was Lil Jon and his friends!  Super cool guy.  (OH, and he told me he listens to Q100 all the time.... so you're in good company :-)

The 'Mean Girls' actress ' who was released from prison last week after serving just 13 days of a 90-day sentence for breaking the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under influence (DUI) conviction ' is currently on a 90-day treatment course at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

However, staff are said to have banned the troubled star from seeing anyone apart from her blood relations for the first 30 days of her stay, according to gossip website TMZ.

The California Gurls singer has revealed she often goes to bed with her make-up on because she feels so "ugly", but is slowly learning how to embrace her inner beauty because of her doting fiance.

She explained: "I think he taught me a lot about inner beauty and confidence in myself. I don't really feel pretty ever. Without makeup, I feel ugly. And so I would have to sleep with makeup on, or feel ugly and gross. He looks beyond all of that, which is such a win, because I've never felt that with anybody."

The 25-year-old pop star is certain their romance will last because Russell is in love with her personality as well as her body.

Will Justin Timberlake be 'I'm.mortal'?

We hear Justin is preparing to step up his movie career with a lead role in a big budget sci-fi blockbuster.

His upcoming big screen outings including "The Social Network" and "Bad Teacher" opposite his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz.

But now we hear he's set to take his acting to the next level after being offered a high profile role in "I'm.mortal."

The film, which will be directed by "The Truman Show" screen writer Andrew Niccol, is set in the future where humans no longer age and the rich are able to pay for immortality.

"I'm.mortal" is due for release in 2011.

Who will be the next 'American Idol' judge? The latest celebrity reportedly set to fill the vacant seat at the judges table is Jessica Simpson.

 

 

Both TMZ and MTV are reporting that Simpson has had several meetings with 'American Idol' producers and that there appears to be 'mutual interest.' Producers are expected to make a formal announcement about Cowell's replacement in September.
 

I'm finally getting to go see Inception tomorrow night!  Just a little bit excited about it.  Everyone I've talked to has said it's one of the best movies they've seen in a while.  I'll let you know what I think after I check it out :)
